Empowering English Language Learners
I'm working on a collaborative video project and I need your help!

As part of this unit I would like to create a video to share with students of people from around the world answering the question: "How has English helped you?" The more I travel, the more I realize that English is a language the empowers and connects people all over the world, and that equipping my students with this knowledge could greatly enhance their career and life opportunities. I'm looking for people of all ages, professions and from all different countries to record a short video answering the questions below and either posting it to YouTube and sending me a link or sending me the video directly through Dropbox. If you have an iPhone, this is so easy. Just find someone you know whose first language is not English, and ask the following questions with video rolling:
"What's your name?"
"Where do you live?"
"What do you do?"
"How has English helped you?"
This is an educational project, so please be respectful and only send relevant videos. I will keep a collection of these on my own YouTube channel, and see how many countries we can receive video from. My students can them map the origins of each video on a large world map and do other related activities to help them see the
